Hello,

This 540xi, the 530xi, the basic V8 4.4, the 3 liters diesel are not available in Europe yet.
What concerns me the most, is 740xi, the basic V8 is not available also for 7 series and this car have almost 2 years since the release and this could mean this engines will never be available.


I want to order a 540xi in the autumn (November) and I'm affraid this powertrain will not be available at all to be ordered.

Do you have any news from your country?
There is no point to ask my local dealer as they usually knows less aboit BMW compared with me

The 40i and 30i are not planned for Europe. The 540dx is coming to us in the summer.

This can't be real.
4 cilinders petrol is 25% of the sales in Europe.
6 cilinders petrol probabily 10%

Of course there is 20i, but almost nobody is buying this

You can't withraw the 2 engines who are in charge for 1/3 of the sales with no reason.

Since there is only one petrol engine available, I took that.
