So just got the car yesterday (yay!!). I'm already seeing that the center console and touch screen are just fingerprint magnets. That's gonna drive me a little nuts, how are any of you (who have the same hatred for fingerprints) dealing with this?

I had the same shiny black center console on my first iX (2022). When I changed to a 2023, I made sure the center console had the awesome, matte & open pore wood....zero fingerprints!

Sadly my new i5 center console drives me nuts with smears and smudges!

Touch screen is VERY easy to have ZERO fingerprints!!! USE the iDrive knob Voila! No fingerprints ever!!! I never, never, never touch the big screen. I hate fingerprints.

I agree that the wood panel is seemingly immune to fingerprints which l love. I ordered these for the touch screen which I’m sure would also work on the black center console.

Microfiber cloth in the glove compartment helps keep the shiny black surfaces clean for me.

maybe I'm just old school(or just old)... but I always wear driving gloves when I drive, at least during the last 42 years. so fingerprints are never a problem for me in the car.(to keep everything clean or to prevent leaving evidence )

my favourite driving gloves are these... made in the UK.... good enough for James Bond, definitely good enough for me.

buy sreen protectors on the internet, like ones used on mobile phone screens. there are also similar protectors for the console, too.
some of them got similar touch like glass. (most don't, but still better than nothing)
