Canadian order question

New poster, just ordered an i5 M60. I'm very excited! It''l be a while before it arrives here in Canada, and while I wait I feel like asking a million questions. Thankfully, this forum answers most of them - this is great.

Here's a question I did not find an answer for yet. Does anyone know what the dagger beside the Adaptive LED Headlights and the Parking Assistant Professional mean?

Cheers!

At the bottom of the form, there should be a legend with the dagger symbol and an explanation. It could be that it requires a subscription or that the feature is regional, etc.

My SA sent me the build sheet via text for my M60 and it had a little dagger too, but I couldn’t find a legend. Happy to report that my LED lights work just fine, whatever the dagger is meant to signify.

Thanks everyone! There is no legend in my order, either. But it’s good to know all is well nonetheless.

I checked my order and it actually has a footnote on the page which has "Alternate Option" written beside it. On my order of an i5 eDrive40, the following items all have this symbol. I don't know why they are considered alternate though.
  • 43L Fine Wood Dark Oak High Gloss Trim with...
  • 552 Full LED Lights with Cornering Lights

Here is a clip showing the footnote.

It is optional meaning that it was a user selected option. You chose oak trim over ash, carbon fiber, aluminum. Headlights can have blackout surround or not. I think that’s what it means.

Interesting! It makes sense - 552 on my order is Adaptive LED Headlights whereas on SkyKingUSA’s order it is Full LED Lights with Cornering Lights. It looks like some options are different in different countries but are still listed under the same code - which is then marked with the dagger. I’m not sure about the differences but I like that at least BMW marks them explicitly.
