Does the keyfob have to be within a certain distance from the car (Bluetooth) or is it internet based where I'll be able to start the car from anywhere? If it's the latter (which I would imagine it is) do I have to sign the car up for it's own internet account or is the car automatically preprogramned to respond to remote commands once the phone is signed into the MyBMW app?

You can click the lock button 3 times on the key or there is a button on the mobile app. I didnt sign up for an internment account.
