With 15 years and 161k miles on my E92, I've been waiting for a truly attractive successor to arrive (cue the FX, GX crowd that the designs have grown on them). If the M5 Touring makes it, it leaves me hope that the Neue Klasse M3 Touring would make it over in both ICE and BEV variants!...ok, I think I got greedy on that last point. |

We still have pictures of it. Looks so much better than sedan, but the rear window looks kinda weird. Other than that, stunning car.

Not a fan at all. I guess it's good to have choices, but....
And that rear window - - yikes! |

I’d love to see one in person - I’m a wagon person without a doubt, but this is really big now. In black I think it’d look like a hearse to be honest.

Don't forget that it was filmed in a small room, so with a short focal length.
This will distort the proportions a lot. BTW the reporter is on the little side. |

Must be my North American upbringing because I have never seen a wagon that I liked the look of compared to a sedan or even an SUV. Wagon as a formfactor is near the bottom of the list for me, but to each their own. I'm sure it's very useful to those who like that look.

The wagons have both the practicability of the SUV and most of the driving capabilities of the sedan. Most people I know prefer the look of BMW Tourings over their sedan counterparts. Personally I’m a bit torn this time around and might actually go for the G60 over the G61. Here is my G31. To me the form factor is beautiful. |
