Puppy Seat Cover Recommendations

Hello All!

New Bimmer owner here! I have a 2 year old small dog who unfortunately gets car sick sometimes on long drives. I'm looking for seat covers that would fit my new 2023 X3.

Let me know what ya'll recommend!

Thanks!

I would just go to Petsmart and just purchase the rear seat cover for the dogs. Its universal and its only like $70 bucks. They come in a couple of different colors and it comes with a pretty good thick material. Washable also...

Thank you all. I ended up going with a VIEWPETS Bench Car Seat Cover from Amazon.

That one wont cover your carpet area or the back of the front seats. If you can return it, this one is great in case god forbid youre in an accident the dog is somewhat wrapped in a banana hammock and it protects the back of the front seats and floor area

My wife has this from Amazon in her X3 and it covers almost everything possible

I have what was posted from Amazon - works great and if folding down the back seat...can extend in a way to cover the back.

Not sure how much your dogs shed - but mine also required me to obtain Tux Mats (cover more carpet than WeatherTech) and also went to Custom Car Mats for a back liner. But - I'm thinking I may have a tad more dog hair than most.

That's similar to what I recently got for the X1. One of my dogs like to poke his head between the front seats and ride looking out the windshield while we're moving so the mesh works. Only zips on one side, though.

I also use Kurgo door card protectors in addition to the seat mat. I've yet to find a door guard that stays up by the small, fixed door window closest the c-pillar (short of using tape or something).

Not sure those door card protectors would work on my car, which has the power sunshades on the back doors (2006 750Li, was on e53 X54.8is as well). We have the BMW seat cover for the 7, and we sewed in battens on the side panel parts to make them more rigid and help keep the pup (choco lab) off the doors. I thought she might tear up the side shades, but having them up calms her in the car.

WeatherTech has all the seat and door covers you would need. Support a fellow enthusiast and American made products.

painters canvas drop cloth. get it in any size you want, cut it up however you want. the heavier the better. double or triple it up and any puke won't soak thru unless you let it sit there for quite a while. throw it in the wash and its good to go.
