Any reviews or discussions of the 540ix?

I've ordered one and I currently have a production number. Production will start on 1-21-24 so I'm hoping for delivery early in March.

My build is black sapphire metallic, 933 19" wheels, smoke white veganza interior, dark oak high gloss wood trim, luxury seats, B&W audio, premier package.

I triple checked to be sure that it would include the interactive light bar (code: 4UR) as I HATED the ones that I saw in the 530's I've seen. They have two very narrow LED strips which, to me, look cheap and awful.

But I've yet to see any reviews of the 540ix.

Has anyone found any?

I ordered a 540 in early November and it is currently "at the port". I chose carbon black metallic with black veganaza seats and dark oak trim. I also got the Bower and Wilkins sound system, premium package, luxury seats, highway assist and M-sport pro package. I also really hated the accent lighting in the 530 and made sure that the 540 had the interactive lighting.

I'll post pictures and give my first impressions when I get the car. I am hoping it arrives by early mid January.

Bumping this thread. Has anyone seen 540i reviews or have driver feedback? Perhaps an influx of deliveries coming this month.

Part of my morning routine is now searching YouTube videos for the 2024 540i. Preferably a review where the car is driven. I have found one video but no driving.

My car arrives at the port on the 17th. Crossing my fingers it doesn’t sit their too long and I can have it by end of month or early next.

Took my trade in for a final appraisal and my dealer had a 540ix on the lot and was able to test drive it. Plenty of power and it’s instant.

Made me even more excited for mine to arrive!

What are you currently driving to compare the G60’s “plenty of power and it’s instant” to? If it’s a G30 540i then it’s a fair comparison. That’s what I have now.

You bring up a good point. I’m coming from a Toyota Highlander Hybrid. So my bicycle feels fast compared to that. Ive driven a C8 corvette and it’s not quite that fast but faster than my Highlander. 🤷🏻&zwj;♂️
