Loving the 530i….innovative, exciting, well thought out change…plus LBF (look back factor). The only “but” is the missing control for “on/off.” A bit jarring….and more importantly, the A/C goes into a high efficiency mode. Rather punishing in warm climates. Driving in Sport mode supposedly takes care of that, providing that you’re a fan of Sport in everyday driving, plus you enjoy the laying on of eyes on a bright red instrument cluster. Any “back door” ideas around this? Thx!

the 530i that I have on order is the same color as your. however, I was almost going to change it to oxide grey, but didn't get around to calling my BMW SA.

Now that I've seen these nice pics of your cool new 530i, I think I'm sticking with the same color.

Same for me in SoCal - I haven't seen any i5s yet in the wild and only one i4 eDrive35 this week on the freeway.

I saw two in the same night in NJ. I was at a charging station and the other guy had an M60 in Carbon Black like mine. Talked to the guy briefly and he worked for BMW. Advantage to living near BMW HQ.
