Anti-Dazzle headlights recoding...

Anybody out there figure out how to re-activate the Anti-Dazzle headlights feature on a G60 i5 with iDrive 8.5?

Bimmercode is locked out.

Thanks.

Hello. My recent casual survey of the forums tells me that there isn't a way yet. I was hoping that ProTool could do it; but I find no evidence that it can.

recent BMWs with iDrive 8, 8.5 and 9 will most likely never have anything meaningful coding options... that's according to everything I've read in the last year and half... as well several inquiries sent to Bimmercode and all the usual coding specialists.

iDrive 8.5 and onward, I don't know. But iDrive 8 owners have been reporting success coding anti-dazzle with Bimmercode and ProTool.

Really that's all I want, anti-dazzle.

I would speculate that if you could modify the VO (vehicle order) to remove the 5AP option code from the car and then have/ask/pay your dealer to do a complete car coding it would probably do the trick.

The issue is that, as I understand it, there is some BMW server-side validation that takes place that won’t allow anything that conflicts with the VO. So, the VO would need to be changed on their end.
