I forgot to ask the dealer (today they are closed) about it: has anyone asked whether they have the floor mats or trunk mat available already?
I can see some options on the shopbmeusa.

Has anybody tried to bargain for a free one

Has anyone ordered the floor mat and trunk mat?

I checked on BMW USA and the parts number are of the old G30 5 series... Not sure if they will fit G60.

Can understand not having a truck mat but surely the car comes with floor mats as standard or are you looking for additional or more hardwiring ie rubber ones?

car came with carpet floor mat as standard. i've asked my dealer to throw in the all weather mat and it's on order right now.

Yeah my dealer mailed me the better quality ones for Free for the front and rear. No trunk option yet though. But it’s a Night and Day difference. You can see a light example of them in my photos.

Yes. And they snap into place, so no shifting in the car.

I have always ordered Lloyds Luxe mats for every car that I owned. They are probably the most plush custom carpet for the cars. They are so comfy that my passengers always took off their shoes. Although I'm not sure if they have the pattern for the new 5-series yet.

Dealer gave my floor mats as part of a dealer package with free car washes - wasn't quite worth it, but oh well.

I bought the Trunk Mat - part number: 51-47-2-414-224 - its okay. nothing overly fancy. Mix of rubber and plastic. I would have bought one on Weathertech but they didn't have one made for the i5 yet. It is also just a rectangle. so it does not cover every square inch of the trunk - mainly leaving exposed the wider sides at the very rear of the car.

I was able to make out the rough number on the packaging and did some research. I think the correct OEM floor mats are:

Front: 51-47-5-A87-FF0
Rear: 51-47-5-A87-FF2

The ones on shopbmwusa.com are still G30 ones. I know because my dealer mailed me those and they didn't fit

The numbers for the trunk mats end in:
FF5 for cars without emergency wheel
FF6 for cars with emergency wheel

Those part numbers are what were given to me by the dealership, fit great. Snap into place with no problem.
