I'd rather have an extra 10mpg than the extra HP. Quite a number of people I know who have them are in the teens in MPG which is just absurd. This is the same across their entire product line. With gas eventually possibly reaching $4/gallon this may be a fatal oversight.

Well, it looks a heck of a lot better than the old interior. That was one of the major things that turned me off the previous model. Not that I'd pick a G35 over a 330/335, but of all the cars I tested before I ordered my 330i (and I tested a lot of them), the previous model G35 was the best after the BMW.

the ES330 is a phenominal seller for Lexus. And depending on how you look at it, the ES is the entry luxo and the IS is entry luxo sport. so if you combine the two, i believe it passes BMW's 3 series sales. Not bad if you ask me.

Do you know many people can NOT stand how the E90 looks? I am one of them.

obviously you don't like how the E90 looks or you'd have one, since they are faster and handle better than a G35

People give Lexus a hard time but they are giving americans exactly what they want in a car. Sad but true.

i test drove a g35 before buying the e90, the interior turned me off. i agree with others, it's rather ugly and feels kinda cheap. the new interior is an improvement, but i still think it doesn't look good.

exterior wise... i like the new front, looks more like the m35/45. they should have did more with the rear. the rear just looks refreshed and was always one of the designs weak points imho.

Handling better, yes.
Better interior, yes.
But the 330i being faster than a G35 coupe, no.

They might not have real great MPG numbers, but when it comes to performance, MPG isnt always a priority. The two cars will be a great match-up for one another, but the G35 will def. take a 330i, but not a 335i.

I'm just goofing around, really cars in this class aren't all about speed

having the fastest one my be sort of a bragging right, but we're still not in sports car territory.

lux cars aren't all about speed.

I knew it was a sad day for BMW when I was more excited about sat radio and bluetooth than the acceleration and handling.

BMW is all about balance, I think. When BMW brings in their line, the wannabe's jump at it and out do BMW. Sure the competitors raise up their HP and all else but BMW was always their to bring it first. I notice these Japanses cars tend to update their cars so frequent just to keep their line in check with competition. BMW doesn't need to change so frequent because each time they bring out a new line of cars, it is a complete finish. As best, perfect. What could be worse, hyndai reinventing their cars to look like other cars every two years or so. The competitors will always get the last chance to outdue but BMW knows it stands firm in each of their design.
