The best of M Track days is just lead follow a pace-car who is not driving to the limit and when it was free it was worth it. When it was $250, it was really borderline meh. Now that its $500, its kind of robbery when you consider you can have real track time for that price.

Yes, the lead follow on the big track is definitely the highlight of the day. 250 would be a steal for it but it's the least not a $4,000 M school and all their other stuff is expensive

When I did it. The follow the leader track time started slow but ended up pushing the limits. Most drivers couldn’t keep up to the leader.

You got lucky. The second year they did it, I signed up and was behind a guy who did not belong on a track and ruined it for the entire group. I was really tempted to pass him but the lead was waiting for the entire group so no point.

May also depend on which group you put yourself in. I put myself in the amateur group, one up from the beginner group. We got up to 145 on the straightaway. It was the leader and three of us behind him and he would take turns letting each of us be second line. They did that last time I was there too that way you're not always held up by someone

Its the luck of the draw as someone in my group thought they were alot better than they really were.

Yeah I suppose there is that. People may have unrealistic opinions on their skill level. I was very conservative on mine even I've done M school and a bunch of driving events I put myself in the amateur group, one up from the bottom
