I enjoy these sort of videos as I am a big proponent of dash cams (although they can be a bit depressing seeing all the caca drivers out there).
I don’t think the Tesla driver has a case at all given the warning signs on the road. People that key and vandalize cars (couple in the video) are about the lowest form of life. I’ve seen a lot of videos where people key Teslas out of some sort of vengeance. So damn weird / sad that people feel that entitled to f#*@ with property that doesn’t belong to them. And the whole “rolling coal” thing is also just weird as hell. |

I kind of feel anyone dumb enough to hand over thousands of dollars to fund Elon's R&D Autopilot project deserves whatever happens to them. Is that too cruel?

Driver doesn't have a case against Tesla until FSD is truly authorized as completely autonomous with no hand needed on the steering wheel.

This reminds me of this scene from The Office:

Serves him right! Hope he wastes a ton of personal time and resources trying to sue.

Agreed, and he's also grasping at straws with a lawsuit against the municipality. Hopefully the city doesn't settle just to prove a point. Instead of filing frivolous lawsuits to waste everyone's time and clog up the court system, the driver should have just kept his eyes on the road.

Got to love software control
Release notes for model 3 a few years back Disney+ Introduced Braking improvements ( as F150 could pull up quicker and someone had stuffed up the abs coding without knowing) Can now recognise stationary ambulance attending emergency rather than hitting it at highway speed And Tesla let people alpha test new car software amongst us. But Darwin Award almost goes to inept person that fails to take any responsibility for driving |

Interesting scenario. If he wins, doesn’t it conclude that Tesla is misleading the public with their claims of FSD ? Similarly if he loses, wouldn’t it mean or imply an admission from Tesla that their FSD is bullocks ?
What happened to the case of the driver that got decapitated when the FSD drove under a semi ? |
