I have only seen pictures of it so far. I would like to see one in person. I think it looks OK, but not something that you lust for just because of the styling.
I think your opinion may change upon seeing it in the flesh.

You can have it.....it can do ONE thing that my M3 can do. Go fast. And that's all.
It does everything better than your M3. Sorry. Only thing is maybe looks and thats perhaps the interior and just the front, because the GT-R's rear kills your car too. It'll pull more tail than your car. Solicite more "thumbs up" from other cars/pedestrians. Beat any BMW anywhere in the world.

In fact if your M3, especially a convertible, and the GT-R were real.....the M3 would be doing his laundry.

Oh and I wouldnt try to brag to anyone about your car being "fast".

I completely agree with this.
Have you guys not seen the laps that this thing has been putting down?
This might not have the ultimate looks of the Ferrari or the lines of the Lambo, but it will beat them on the track!

Isn't that the reason why you went with the M3 instead of the 3 series?

SICK
The pics prove one thing though. That red is the WORST color on the GT-R. The red does not look bad but every other color I have seen looks better. But even in the worst color available it is still one of the hottest looking cars on the road today at ANY price. Awesome pics.

looks also is what he going to say. The M3 looks VERY different from a 3 series regardless of what anyone says. I sell them and the 2 cars are parked next to each other and most people ask what kind of car is that refering to the M3 because it looks so much different. He has made some crazy points so I bet he will use this looks thing as his out

How does the car sound with the exhzaust? Everything I have read about the GTR is great but every article complains about the exhaust note not being good at all. Does this one back a big difference?

I wonder how much extra power that Mine's ECU unit gives the car? This isn't a domestic US market model, is it? I didn't think they were available yet...

There's also an ecu mapping as well.

lets try not to make the M3 sound like its better than it actually is. its still just a 3 series. cars like the corvette and gtr have nothing about business about them. if you want your ass pampered like a little wuss then spend the extra 50-100k for one of them fancy supercars. although to be honest i dont see whats so great about a ferrari interior anyway. most models dont even have gps as an option...

This is a US model.
One of the (if not THE) First!

I heard that there is a dealer in OC that is selling the GTR that they have for $110,000.

in the pic of the exhaust, it shows that it goes from a dual pipe into a single pipe all the way back to the mufflers. is this how it is on the stock exhaust? if so, what advantage does a single pipe provide? weight savings perhaps? even so, it looks like the diameter on the single pipe is not much larger (if at all) than each of the dual pipes.

just a thought...

I remember reading a review and some guy driving around in it said most people didn't really notice this car on the road or gave it the looks you'd expect (I guess as opposed to say an M3 or S5). Nice car though but I'd never buy one because I'm not into tracking cars so I'd rather let somebody else who'd actually abuse the shit out of it on a track like it's supposed to be, own it instead.

There was a review that said that about the 3 series. Can't recall ever seeing one say that about the GT-R considering its on every magazine cover in the world and all...
