G99 is right, you have to exaggerate weight transfer to the front end like crazy.

It's definitely fun, it's just terribly unrealistic especially compared to ACC and iRacing.

I'll have to check again - it's been a few weeks since I last played. But agreed it's not on the same level of realism as something like ACC or iRacing - but I don't think GT ever has tried to be (despite all those taglines of the "real driving simulator"). ACC is now on consoles, but I don't find it to be enjoyable as GT7.

Is it crossplay? I've got it on PC if you ever want to get smoked.

I have no idea... I rarely play it. But it does pair well with the fanatec ddpro. Maybe I should give it another shot and compare driving characteristics between it and GT7.

high speed corners are easier
This is 100pc true. The last super tight chicane at Trial Mountain is a great example. If you don't carry the EXACT correct speed over the left hander there's no way to rotate the thing quickly for the right hander. Like you're either right of you lose half to 3/4 of a second.

I have the T-GT II, it was the only thing available at launch. It's on the cheaper side. I think it was $1,200 with the LCM pedals and I replaced the wheel with the F1 style open wheel and added the shifter. I mounted it to a play seat that folds up which i was able to mount a buttkicker to that I tied into the steering wheel rumble signal. It's a good budget setup, I think I'm $1,600 or so all in. Im yet to try a DD system though.
