Found in Munich - What is this?
I saw this car in Munich earlier this week. Other than the BMW emblem it did not have any badging to identify it. Does anyone know what model it is? Having never seen anything like it before, it definately caught my attention. Perhaps it is produced by another company using a BMW platform (Z4/Z3).

Yes it´s a Z8 - what a pity, there were only built a little of
pieces (I don´t know the exact number at the moment!). At first time you´ve got seen it in the one James Bond trailer with the oil-pipeline in Russia. The bad guy in the helicopter cut it in two halves with his big saw! The Z8 became an own platform, the Z3 based on the E36 and Z4 should become a lot of the E46, but for the last I´m not quite shure.

Go to this Bimmerfest.com website:
http://www.bimmerfest.com/events/2006SB/2006sb.php Then scroll down the page and click on the video from Bimmerfest 2004. You will eventually see a Z8 and its owner being interviewed. |

We have a guy that started autocrossing his black Z8 at the Boston Chapter events. The thing sounds meeeaaaannnn. There's also a Z06 there, and they sound surpirsingly similar at WOT.

they're both the same car, the other just have a removable hardtop, I can't see having those roadters with a permanent top. they are indeed stunning from a first glance

When I picked up my car the other day they had just received TWO Z8's in the used lot!
Holy Hotness!
