The f90 was perfect. Excellent proportions. Muscular and fluid. This is almost as bad as the g70. Just an outright miss.
Tons of folks on this forum will say that bmw needs to revolutionize etc - but to me, this is just like the Bangle era, which hasn’t aged well. At all.

People love to hate new things. I am sure they hated the car they drive today the first time the new design was presented to them. It takes time and curiosity to appreciate new things (idea, design, people…anything different)

This design looks to me as if BMW managed to snag couple interns from Mercedes and Hyundai and gave them one night to figure it out… 🥴 Coming from someone who liked anything that came out from BMW pre beaver teeth kindey grill era, right after being presented. Quote:

This is why I’d never kill the angel eyes. It does seem to set BMW apart.

I’m good with my 21 M550, I just wish I had some of those tech goodies. Don’t think I’ll be warming up to that design it hey to each his own.

When I first saw he g30 when it came out, without delay , I thought it was a great looking car. I didn’t need to warm to it
This g60 however is the opposite I am so disappointed with this on many levels Other things I picked up No diesel to be offered I the U.K. ( ok I can probably see why given the anti diesel agenda here) Take the grill off and perhaps that hofmeister kink (which looks too much like the grand coupe treatment) and you wouldn’t know this is a bmw I have really turned off bmw of late , what are they doing . Who is signing off these designs. I’d love to see what the alternatives that were proposed but didn’t make it |

g60 is terrible front, rear and side. Interior is cool though. Hope they improved seat comfort and suspension, otherwise no reason to spend money. |

Someone on these threads state the comfort seats don’t have upper back adjustment. If true that’s one of the unique selling point of these seats
Other than possibly enhancements to autonomous driving, there is no other feature that I want on this car. Oh BMw , what have you done Well the sales figures will determine if they got this right |

520i 520xd e40 with 340hp & 2.2 tons e60xM with 600hp but 2.4 tons So 40i is not coming to EU, US only. And there's supposed to be a new 6 cylinder diesel coming next year and some hybrids. My impression was that the 530d was the top seller, what are these buyers supposed to buy? The e40 model? I honestly wouldn't know what to order now - if I want AWD and 300hp - I'd need to go for a B58 based hybrid, if there even will be one? |

Thought i would add the i4 vs i5 top dogs both with Brooklyn grey colour from the configurator. Seems like there is a small difference in the B-Grey config in terms of colour. Probably only on the web and not in real life. Both looks nice in their own way i prefer the i4 side, back but the i5 front seems more modern but i like the i4s angel eyes more then the i5 side drls. Also the i4s front reminds me more of a BMW in a way then the i5. Both are though great in their own ways i guess.

When they say 6 cylinder not coming to the EU, does that include the U.K. (ok it’s not EU strictly speaking but it’s the same market and standards effectively )
Range is obviously limited day 1 and no unusual if you look at other new models in the past, may take 12 months before all power trains and options are available For example , don’t see Alcantara headlining as one example - assuming they plan to add that. Gut feeling is that they got this new model a bit wrong. Sure it will sell but as much as before? We’ll see |
