The local dealership has one in black. I was checking it out over the weekend.
For the most part, like any other M car, it closely resembles the base model. I should say that the M6 is probably one of the least altered of the M cars - very conservative body work all around, even the side vents are fairly subtle. The only outwardly noticible cues are the wheels, the massive brakes, and the quad exhaust. The interior is covered in generous helpings of CF. Not much else to say. The question is this: what is the point and the real attraction of the M6? The M5 is special because it's a comfortable four door family car (read: low profile AND practical - there was a guy in a Ford Lightning who just couldn't seem to figure out why our four door sedan was destroying him so bad) which outruns many sports and GT coupes. The M6 is just another GT coupe that outruns GT coupes - in a straight line, at least. It's not as affordable as the M3 or as raw and unrestrained as the Z4 M cars...I just don't see the point. After racking up some 12 hours of seat time in one over the past two weeks, I'd much rather have the M5.

I'd rather have the M5 as well, i dont know y but i like it more...
but i think there's a point of building the M6, some people dont like 4 door saloons, plus its more stylish than the M5, maybe thats y BMW built it... many people say that the M6 is convincing 4 them...
