Protecting your expensive timepiece.

Just follow the links for reviews. I'm not sure about the effectiveness for daily wear. PPF for watches. What's next? Ceramic wipes? Interesting product, nonetheless.

Putting on those tiny stickers would involve a lot of bad language.

Part of the allure of these watches is their eventual patina.

Personally. I would probably echo some of the sentiments in their comments section by saying " Keep it under glass and don't wear it" if you're that concerned.

I have a couple of nice watches that I wear all the time. I paint in them, work on the car, in my shop and do my reno's wearing them. I wore them at work when I was on the road daily. They get dirty and the odd scratch. Every 5-10 years they go for service and come back looking brand new. Kind of like my cars, they get driven. No garage queens at my place.

The ritual of wrapping nice things in tacky plastic is getting out of hand.

I can’t understand the mentality of some collectors who amass nice things like cars, watches, wine, etc., just to look at and brag about and show them off, but never, ever, to be regularly driven, or worn on the wrist, or consumed and enjoyed with family or friends. I find this type of collecting (hoarding) to be rather sad for those whose lives seem to consist of the abundance of the pristine things which they possess, but don't use.

Life is short, so it's foolish to hoard nice things and obsess about them and keep them in pristine, unused condition for the next owner to drive, wear, consume, and really enjoy when you’re gone…

That's my opinion anyway.

IMHO, putting PPF for a watch is totally different than PPF on a car.

This product reminds me of what my mother who came from a different generation used to do with her furniture and how she covered the living room sofa and chairs in clear plastic covers because she wanted to protect the fabric from stains, wear and tear, etc.

My butt used to stick to the covers in the summer time and the plastic didn't move like the material underneath so they cushions were extremely uncomfortable to sit on.

I would never do this to my furniture today, I like the feel of the fabric against my body and if there is a stain you could always get the fabric professionally cleaned.

I proudly wear my watches and if they show some wear it is a badge of honor!
