Recommended Tire Spacer width?

Hey guys, I just joined this forum and I wanted to ask your guys' opinion on the best spacers width for my 435i. I'm running on stock 225/40 R19 front & 255/35 R19 rear. Tia!

I'm running 12mm/18mm on my factory staggered 440i. I think these sizes look the best.

Those looks good man! Are there any rubbing esp for the rear? I've seen posts saying the common ones are 12mm/15mm and they haven't had any issues for it

I have a 440 xDrive and just ordered 12/15. I measured and the existing offset is exactly 12/15. I have the 704M wheels. It’s really worth measuring. I just used some floss tied to a socket and taped to the inside lip of the wheel arch.

I've also got a 435d and from what I've seen on YouTube it's been recommended 12mm on the front and 15mm on the back so that's what I'm going to go with when I get mine done.

I would say recommended spacer width is 0.0 mm.
BMW designed these cars to handle optimally with the OEM wheels and track width.
Spacers sacrifice handling for purely cosmetic purposes. Also, the increased lateral forces on wheel hubs/bearings and suspension components will not promote longevity.

Y'all gon' hate me.

I get what you're saying. That's why I'm on the exge here. But I won't be running spacers for long anyways, until I get my new wheels

I'll make sure to double check. Cheers!

That's what I was thinking too, an 18mm might be too aggressive for me

Nope, no issues and no running. I read a bunch of threads and watched a lot a videos before buying. From what I've read, the 4 series is ever so slightly wider than the 3 series.

Knowing that, I was scared that 15mm might be to small in the rear. What gave me some assurance was Kies Motorsports recommending 12/18 mm in their spacer video for a stock f30.

I'm am lowered slightly though on Eibach Springs.

Here's the link to the video.
