In Q1 2022, BMW X-series vehicles represented almost 50% of total sales in the US with X1/X2 models on par with X3/X4 sales.

Styling-wise, I'd say it looks surprisingly GREAT. Especially in orange:
https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a4...w-x1-revealed/ We've loved our 2016 X1 so this may be an easy upgrade when the time comes. |

Couldn't agree more. The wide angle lens in the video doesn't help to accentuate the "facelift" aspects of the front end either.
Can't say that I'm as excited as I was initially after the reveal after seeing this.

Had known a few people that abandoned newly acquired Volvos over teething quality problems.

Would the X1 not compare to the XC40...We have a X3 and a XC60. They are about the same size and seem to be in the same class. Comparing a X1 to a XC60...not much comparison there, the Volvo is a better model. Comparing X1 to a XC40...then we start to get into things.
On the X1...The looks are definitely improved in my opinion. I thought earlier models were very plain. A nice entry model look for this version. |

Interior looks miles better. That current gen interior has been a tough sell for a few years now with its decade old BMW interior styling cues.
