The FiOS juggernaut, will it stop?
50mbps download and 20mbps upload over entire FiOS network.
Quote:
Verizon press release Makes my "business grade" 15mbps download and 2mbps upload look like a 33.6kbps modem.

What I don't understand is why my damn hardwired and wi-fi router supplied by Verizon freezes and shuts down whenever I watch Netflix online?
Got to power it down then back up and wait for it to connect again...repeat the process a few times after everytime trying to watch movies online and still doesn't get thru.

I agree!! To make things worse my coworkers and "friends" live just 10 miles away from me and keep rubbing my nose in the fact that they have FIOS and I don't.
The latest feature they are touting is the fact that with the TV service you can watch things saved on the DVR on any television connected to your home network. GRRRR!! And everything is cheaper than my lousy Comcast internet/TV service.
