Decided to go with a Prius

Last week I was thinking of buying a beater car for school. I decided to just go with a Prius. I was looking last night and couldn't believe how they hold they're value! I guess im just going to go ahead and get a new one in black. Anybody else own a Prius here?

My brother in law owns one and I drive it quite often. Very nice daily commuter, very comfortable and quiet, great gas mileage. Wobbles like a boat tho in turns, so no spirited driving in that thing, not that it's capable of doing anyway. Very slow, but what do you expect?
Costs $45 to fill up and lasts for a while.

Save yourself $10k and just get a Corolla. It will take years to make up the difference in fuel costs.

You should be able to drive that far on 1 tank. I've driven till 375 or 385, and the computer showed I still had 40-50 miles left till empty.

totally agree. a Yaris or Civic are good choices too. They look a hell of a lot better than a Prius
