Sorry to hear that. I'm not a dad so I don't know how you feel. I will say this though, if you have grandchildren they may be more likely to see you. My dad only spoke to his father about once a year...only because my mother made him. There were reasons for this but I can tell you that I wish my dad would have had a relationship with him. I feel like I missed out on a lot of our family history or just even getting to know him. He passed when I was about 12. I do believe my father regrets it now because when my grandfather was near passing he couldn't get there faster. I think I'm one of the few that's even gone to his grave.

I am so sorry to hear this. I think I would go into a deep depression if my two kids treated me that way. It leaves one scratching his head, for sure.
