I had a horrible experience with Carvana's communication and customer service trying to sell. Ended up selling to Vroom for a couple of hundred bucks less. Carmax was significantly lower for me.

I'd suggest adding SHIFT to the list for consideration. I got what I felt was a great deal from them on a 2014 Mazda6 I sold last fall. Much better offer than Carvana.

I've been trying to sell our 2020 Corolla recently. Maybe 6+ months ago I tried getting online quotes and it was like maybe $14k. So now I decided to try to sell myself online. No bites except a couple low ball offers.
Went back and tried vroom, carvana and carmax. Here are the numbers. Carmax: $18,500 Carvana: $19,400 Vroom: $20,300 That being said still waiting on vroom to send contract and what not and it's probably been like 4-5 days. I've called them and they just say they are backed up and I will get it soon. We'll see. I believe I paid like maybe $19k OTD for it. |
