E34 M5 shoot and ride
Hi all
I recently had a chance to shoot a 91 E34 M5 along the back roads of NJ. I shoot tons of BMWs but this was a pretty rare one. Check it out here: https://machineswithsouls.com/2021/0...-e34-m5-shoot/ Enjoy!

Great shots and beautiful E34, I specifically loved this one.
The E34 is typically the forgotten 5-series (like the E36 is to M3's), between the first E28 M5 that started it all as well as the goldilocks and timeless E39 with the first M V8, it doesn't get enough credit for being the last straight-six M5 (which was an excellent engine) as well as the last M car to feature a hand-crafted engine. Add to that the beautiful and simple design, the practicality but fantastic handling, the E34 M5 is one hell of a car. |

I've always loved the E34 personally, although I like the wide nose front end even more. I was checking out prices for the E34 M5's lately and it seems like they've really gone up.

Indeed, like most NA M cars these days. It sounded really good though, a really angry 6!

I had a E34 525i, and wanted the M5 so badly. Could not afford it then. To be honest I like the E34 M5 much better than the E39.

My first Bmw was a 3 year old 1992 e34 525i sport in red, 3 years later I sold it & bought a 1991 3.6 e34 M5 in Laguna green with silver leather which I owned until 2001
Those were the days

Yeah I know. Hell I had a 6 Speed E60 M5 that I liked more than the E39.

E60 with a 6MT just pure awesome. It may be known to be problematic but that car just has so much character and will forever remain special, plus I am in the minority of those who really like the E60's looks. I drove it years ago and fell in love with the car.

I've always love the way they look too. Many not as elegant as its predecessors, but it had so much presence. At the end of the day, I couldn't justify the extra maintenance of the S65 plus the power delivery ended up feeling pretty similar.
