I would caution against using straight hydrogen peroxide as a rinse or tooth paste.
Lets see, best result for fewest bucks... I would say you have to stick with a professional whitening treatment - the over-the-counter ones are "ok" at best... most people will probably end up disappointed. For best value I would suggest a custom tray and take-home method. Takes a little longer and you won't get that immediate "wow factor" as with the 1-hour in office treatment, but you will still get a very nice result. The daily take-home will also resist staining longer than the quick in-office treatment. With that in mind, the more pricey in-office treatment at my practice includes custom trays and take-home treatment.

Zoom is good stuff. My GF jsut got it done and its like the new standard in teeth bleaching. Its developed by Dr. Dorfman (the cosmetic dentist from Extream Makeover).
