I mount the camera w/ a 10mm lens and a corded remote trigger. The cord is feed behind the drivers head rest and the controller rest on my left side out of site.

You cannot see thru the view finder and it's hard to level the camera. I use Live View and set the shots up. There in NO ROOM in the back for me and the tripod/camera set up. At best you get a side angle view of the screen.

Depending on the street/road lights you can use 8-15 second exposures @ f5.6 @ ISO 400. You can move up to f8 the brighter the street lights get.

I shoot RAW and convert to PS.

I took around 120 shot to get those 6. I have a few more that I will play with.

I especially like the last pic. Something about the angle, it contributes to the whole speed effect. Very nice!
