yea i think this is why its so important than a main stream manufacturer like VW owns someone like Lambo... all those Jettas pay for the Aventadors ultimately... sadly McLaren doens thave this comfort

after Ron Dennis things were not going well at all.. actually still.. yes they added more models to the McLaren line up but actually in the end they are more or less the same car.. even almost the very same engine.. CEO probably wanted more models but there should be different layouts or styles as well.. manufacturing and selling almost the same different cars adds cost but the result is the same.. like having different colors on the same car but very costly.. why not making a 4 seater for example.. there is a demand.. like initial Ferrari days.. Ferrari was selling road cars to finance the racing team.. with McLaren they dont feel connected.. especially thanks to Zak Brown..

McLaren has a racing heritage why not positioning the brand like Ferrari did many years ago.. and in short they need to build less cars really.. less is more in such tier of cars.. in recent years i heard that factory was sending cars to dealers even if they dont ask to.. its funny..

and of course definitely needs a better built quality..
having excessive units + poor built quality + causing crazy depreciation = was a bankrupt formula already..
