With the new kids rising theme it's interesting that Christian Horner has said that Hamilton will only sign for Merc or actually anyone if £60M a season is put on the table.Currently £40M a season I think is on his balance and it just adds speculation he may jump ship to the Scuderia who have pots of money,that is if they would be interested.
With all teams cutting back on costs and Merc profits halved? at the last accountancy round up it seems difficult to justify anyone demanding a 33% rise. If he does leave F1 then plenty of young hopefuls waiting to take the place and another possibly for Ferrari if Seb can't 'hammer' another deal.

If Seb finishes no lower than third at the end of season it'll be good for him but whether it's enough to remain at Ferrari is in the lap of the gods.It appears there is little chance of RB for him and with Merc looking to continue in '21 only Hamilton not re-signing will be his only hope.
He will simply be too expensive for the lower teams unless he takes a pay cut.The only other thing is if Ricciardo comes to Ferrari then Seb could slot into Renault but even that's unlikely as I think Ferrari would prefer a support driver.
