Interesting angle from Alonso on Ham weaknesses

Alonso says these weaknesses haven't been stressed and if you study Ham's season there is a common trend in that he starts the year slowly and no one takes the benefit of that.Everyone gets excited that Bottas will come through but it doesn't happen.
''When you have a good package and the other guys crash and you extend your c/ship lead, everything seems calm.
''If you are only one point ahead or ten behind, then the stress is different.
''The mistakes are different and your radio communications are different.We need to see Hamilton when the pressure is on''.
Taking advantage of a possible early season weakness would expose Hamilton to pressure he thinks he has not been under in recent years.
Alonso himself is eying a return to F1 in all change '21 and would love to exploit those possible weaknesses on the six times champ.

It's all the commentators talk about. How Hamilton is much stronger in the second half of the season.

Last year he wasn't though. The other teams caught up by the second half and started winning races. But we also know Merc didn't keep developing their car in the second half of the season so it's difficult to tell.

Alonso was beaten by Lewis as a rookie. He had no answer for him on the track and blackmailed the team to slow Lewis down.

Alonso was number one in the team and Hamilton disobeyed a team order, it all escalated from that, six of one and half dozen of the other.Dennis handled it wrongly with the end result of them being thrown out of championship and McL being fined $100m.

McLaren doens't have number one drivers. I have friends that work there.

The main target for a team to achieve is the Constructors first, ANY driver however good ignoring that for personal gain is not a team player and should be dismissed. Same goes for any workers in other fields like money dealers for instance, if you can't make a pound and lose a bundle then your out.

Ferrari, for example, has never cared much for team cbampionship, they are all about the driver championship.
