Saw this fake M3 yesterday. There is no power dome, and the inside shows its just a regular 3 series coupe.

Couldnt take a photo: Yesterday afternoon driving 101N FWY in the Valley Yellow Lexus IS200 Altezza with FERRARI prancing horse logo on trunk instead of 'L' and also Ferrari prancing horse logo on the front fender behind the wheel as in actual Ferraris. Fart cannon at full flatulence also.

I don't understand what these people are trying to accomplish.

People who don't know a thing about cars will just think it's "another BMW." They have no clue what the ///M badge means.

Then you have people who do know about the ///M division and will be able to tell you are driving a 328 with the badge tacked on.

For every 1 person you fool there are 10 who know you are a poseur.

I appreciate cars like this. No badging. No funk. Its those stock 320i guys that tack on the oversized ebay ///M that grind my gears.

Saw a legit F80 with a "320i" badge replacing the ///M3 emblem cruising on the 134 Fwy...loved the driver's sense of humor. Wish I could have pulled out my phone in time.

The more I see these the more I am just flabbergasted. People actually have to purposely and consciously buy these badges off eBay or whatever, know their car is not an M car, then go through the trouble of putting on the badge but too lazy to try to make it look OEM.

This made me laugh out today...on Wilshire in Westwood near UCLA. It was a 528i -- note the empty right port for the quad exhausts... he also had the M5 front bumper.

Homeboy also went through the trouble of even getting the side gill fenders-- which were real so he had them taken off a real M5 and put on his 528i.

Homeboy also forgot to paint the parts. This is classic LA. Also why you see salvaged 7 series with 22" wheels all over LA.
