Aw it's not hard to be a fan. The M6 and M8 are fat and new. Once they're dialed in they'll do great. I mean have you seen a Bentley Continental?! Things will come together for BMW shortly I predict.

It’s also the BOP folks. A few adjustments here and there, BMW wins. More adjustments, they come in last.
I mean without the BOP you guys realize that Ford, Ferrari or McLaren would walk away with the championship, with perhaps a worthy challenge from Corvette. Those mid engined turbo racers are low, light, sleek (aero) and very powerful. They’d make mince meat of BMW and Porsche (whose engine is great in a BOP scheme but too puny in a hypothetical derestricted series). And I’m with you, simply don’t understand why BMW again started with their biggest coupe as the template for a race car. Why work against the simple physics when you could work with it.
