Fortnite
I noticed there was no thread for fortnite on here so figured I would start one.
Let me start by saying I just got it recently and was very reluctant but one of my close friends convinced me to download it for free. I have not spent a dime on the game and do actually enjoy playing it mostly when my friends are on too. I thought I would hate it as I am partial to COD but it's pretty good. Does anybody else play? I have it on PS4 and it's available on all platforms for those who didn't know. |

I've been playing fortnite (PS4) for a few months now, and enjoy it.
I have not tried PUBG, but am interested to try it out. My biggest issue with fortnite is the (excessive) building with PC or builder pro. Someone engages you, then goes on to build all around you this 5 story goliath fort. That's why they got rid of the close encounters LTM (shotguns only) after only 1 day because people built huge bases and shotguns have a very limited range. |

Played on the switch for a few min yesterday. Hard to grasp the building dynamics without a lot more practice.
I'll put more time in it since its so portable now.

My 9-year-old son plays it. Loves it. He's created a YouTube channel. The fun aspect of it is... I've taught him to create splash screens, titles, transitions, credits, etc. When I was his age, non-linear digital video editing didn't exist. He's really picked up that aspect of it. Honestly... The Fortnight is cool but... watching him develop his editing skills is better.
