Question about end of lease guidelines

Hello

I was just rear ended from another card today, and noticed that my rear bumper has 2 indentations from the persons license plate screws.

Does anyone know if I will be charged for this when i return the car?

Was hit approximately 10-15mphs

BMW will be mailing you a end of lease packet with an overlay to measure dents and scratches. If the dents are under a certain size dictated by the overlay, then you won't be charged. Is the bumper obviously pushed in? If so, you might get charged for a new bumper and the foam inserts in the crumple zones if they are damaged. You can go to your nearest dealer and have them do a pre-inspection and estimate for any repairs if any, then have them fixed yourself, which is cheaper in most cases.

before you turn in the car run it by your dealer the concerns you have. They will be able to tell you what if any steps you need to take when you turn your car in. Every dealers is different unfortunately

Too funny-same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago on Coast Highway-you can barely see the indentations but I am concerned.

I'd say yer screwed. Did ya get a card from the driver with their insurance details? Cause either way with being rear ended I would get it fixed.
