Some of you may remember this post, which was a travelogue of a weeklong, 15-state driving trip to the southern Appalachians in March that was later a Bimmerpost feature.

Well, I now own a 2018 Porsche 718 Cayman, and this past week I did a similar trip in the new car -- still with a temporary tag -- From Dallas through the Deep South to PEC Atlanta and back. Six days, five nights, 2,550 miles ... and 30 mpg!
