Spotted: widebody E46

Some of the Vancouver/Richmond (BC) people may recognize this car. Spotted parked outside AutoWest BMW.

Nice 330i. Supercharged. HREs. Custom dash. Custom seats apparently commisioned by ACS and built by Recaro. Looks like a lot of time was spent on this car...

I think those scoops are functional though, not cosmetic, for cooling the rear brakes

I can't tell if it's a 330 or an M3. I was looking for the side vents, but realized that the WBK might have deleted those considering that panel has to be replaced.

I like the car, but I could do without the color, the brake duct (even if it's functional) and the spoiler could be toned down just a bit more. Still looks really good tho...

It's a 330i. The guy has had the local BMW dealer do all the engine work (including the supercharging)...so he has almost certainly overpayed on the labour. Although, maybe it has evened out given they warrantied all the work and apparently his transmission has blown up several times and it was replaced for free.

I would also probably just buy a M3 and be done with it. But this guy obviously has the money to spend. And at the end of the day, it is a very unique car...

personalization, pleasure, achievement...

Some of the same reason's why anyone would modify any car. Only the owner will know the exact reason for this case.

I remember seeing that car during the custom widebody work on e46fan. While it is not my cu of tea, I respect the effort that guy did.

Nice

Color is a bit unique... kinda salmon-esque, but still looks good.
