I think planes, trains and automobiles was about thanksgiving. A true classic though. Candy and Martin how can you go wrong.

Pretty sure that was John Hughes last film. Surprised he never did a Christmas based movie.

That's one of my tops too, and it was about Thanksgiving, but you could easily change it to them trying to get home for Christmas dinner.
