Is it me or does the X6 remind you of the old AMC Eagle cars. They sat higher than most cars.....were 4wd and were hatchbacks. I dont think Chris Bangle designed anything new here. This is meant for anyone 30 years or older.

Did anybody else noticed that interviewer lady was totally clueless. She almost forgot Bangle's name in the beginning. She wasn't listening at all while Bangle spoke, and she asked the design guy about the "brand new" engine! hahaha

Contrary to what most people think, I actually kind of like how this car looks. I have this strange feeling that everything that I have probs with right now will be fixed in the (not so near) facelift. lol, I'm already thinking about the facelift...

+1. It's major overkill. The rear window is tiny. This car exudes form over fuction. I have a feeling the few people who actually purchase the X6 won't own them very long.

The X6 is like a good idea gone wrong. It's almost there but not quite.

As one editor put it, "it's just strange". I couldn't agree more.

That's the thing though. I'm sure that the car's form over function design is exactly what it intends for the car's target demographic. I'm sure that the people who buy this car are the rich who want an SUV but want it to be stylish...I mean "unique".

Ya, the people who have to be "exclusive" about everything will be flocking to this car to only get rid of it once it is no longer exclusive.

In LA, it's all about the exclusive so..
