IN THE SHOP | Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse

Fabspeed had the pleasure of extracting more performance out of one of Lamborghini's finest: a Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse. It's one of the most limited-production Gallardos in the world. Of the 50 units that they made worldwide, there are 18 in North America and only 15 of those are in the US. They are all E-Gear and all Giallo Midas and LOADED with carbon fiber accents. It is absolutely gorgeous and we had the luxury of transforming it into the raging bull it really is!

To Do List: Valvetronic X-Pipe Exhaust System, BMC Air Filters, and in-house dyno ECU Tune.






We immediately strapped the beast onto our Dynojet to gauge the factory power level.

Stock Power: 513 hp @ 7.46 RPM / 390 ft/lbs @ 6.29 RPM





As soon as the vehicle had cooled, we installed our Valvetronic X-Pipe Exhaust System.





Back to the Dynojet for final numbers with both exhaust and Fabspeed ECU Tune.



Fabspeed's ECU Tune provided maximum gains of over 25 whp and 24 ft-lbs of torque at 5600 RPM in conjunction with our Valvetronic X-Pipe Exhaust System. Peak gains were 18 whp and 18 ft/lbs of torque.




We hated to see it leave, but loved hearing it go.

This is Mike in Marketing - it was exhilarating to drive! The sound of the engine hits this high-frequency note which just penetrates deep into your brain in the best way.

That engine is wrung well out - more power would always be nice. We always explain the video process and ask permission. Understandably some owners are not interested - some are thrilled to get video of their car.
