Should I buy this Cayman GT4?
So quick question... have an opportunity to buy a porsche GT4, but have limited experience with the market.
It's a 16, 3,500 miles one owner. Owner wants quick sale, listed for 95k, 5k under MSRP. I was going to offer 86 or so? can't hurt. do these things really hold to MSRP Value? if i buy this thing for 3-4 months and put 3,000 miles on it can i break even? any input is appreciated. i love doing stuff like this, a bit of a hobby. |

also limited experience, but if you don't plan on driving it...IMO, this is one of the models that will hold its value.
it's a porsche GTX model, limited run, last naturally aspirated engine, actually has a 911 engine in it, etc. it's pretty significant in the porsche line up. |

Almost impossible to get an allocation now and some dealership are charging $20-$25k over. The car is special and will definitely appreciate in value. If you have the means, then I would try and get it. Saw one in my work parking lot and almost jizzed in my pants. (Maybe that part wasn't necessary).

Have you ever had a car that small before? I have, and it gets old quick, unless you have a second car...

This car probably sold for over the asking price. If you really want a GT4 you can't take time to go ask on a forum......trust me, It'll be sold before you get back to it. As someone noted these cars are selling 15k-20k over MSRP.......so don't W8............Phil

Do it right away and don't look back! I just paid *quite* a bit over MSRP for one with higher mileage. The car is incredible.

It's definitely sold if the owner really wanted to sell it for that price
