Online I've found has the best deals. Jomashop was a good experience on my last TAG purchase.

Just had a horrible experience with Jomashop. Bought my girlfriend a Michele, it arrived broken. I sent it back, and when the package got there, they told me the watch wasnt inside and to file a claim with FedEx. They waited a week from delivery to tell me this... Customer service was rude.

I had good experience with Chronostore buying my breitling, much more responsive, and the guys there are really nice

That sucks.

I'll check out Chronostore next time. My only concerns with online venues are the warranty issues.

Agreed. The reality of the situation is that you should still send to the manufacturer for any major repairs. Even if you have to spend the $500-$900 for a breitling full overhaul, it still is usually cheaper than buying it from an AD and having the warranty. Do you really want a place like joma or chronostore servicing your $10k watch?

You do know that Tag Heuer watches are made by Tissot and commonly feature the exact same innards?

That is crazy. FedEX is responsible. I have bought 5 different watches from them some internationally shipped. Never had one problem with them.

I had FedEx refund me last week. Such a massive pain in the ass.

I think the one guy from Jomashop i spoke with was incredibly rude. I ended up talking to another woman who was very nice through the process

That sounds kind of strange as tissot is part of the swatch group and Tag is from LVMH.
For sure tag has used eta based movements (like so many others) but it also has models with seiko based movements.
