Full range of M Vechicle MSRP Reduction up to 13.4% announced in China Market
BMW announced today a MSRP (base/starting price) reduction up to 13.4% across full M spectrum, for its very first time in China Market, though Porsche did it twice with 997.2 and 991.1.
Be noted, 1) The prices listed below DO NOT include the purchasing tax of 8.5%. 2) Currency translated to USD @ 1:6.7. This is what's going on in the world's 2nd or 3rd biggest automobile market and if that makes most of the rest of the world feel better

Really interesting to see this -- not because of the market-adjustment price drops, but because of the disparity in pricing between small M and large M cars:
For example, In the PRC -- after the price drop!: M6 (coupe or GC) = 310% of the price of an M2 In the U.S.: M6 coupe = 227% of the price of an M2 That's telling on so many financial, social, and economic levels ... and proof that BMW's profit structure is based on microeconomic market theory, not macroeconomic theory. Anyone still in denial about BMW being a global-first brand only needs to see this to be refuted.
