Typical Invoice/ New car pricing on porsche
Old man might be getting a 911 turbo S ( if i can convince him properly)
I understand the GT3/ GTRS/ GT4 have markups, but my understanding is while the 911 turbo is expensive, it's not hard getting an allocation/ order slot. That being said, how much discount do you think they will give on a 190,000 car? what % off is invoice? BMW/ Audi roughly 8 %... anyone have any ideas on Porsche? |

I can't say exactly (limited experience), however with a car in that price range you really need to expand your search across the country and see who will play ball. Set out your must-have specs and send out emails to 15-30 dealers across the country stating you are searching for a car and intent upon doing business with the outfit that cuts you the best deal and/or service.
Using that method I have been able to consistently get 8-10% off for myself and friends (BMW 228i, Audi S3, Ford Fiesta ST, Fiat Abarth this past year). Yes you need to withstand salesman and dealer spam, but usually a gem or two will appear and you get a great deal with minimal footwork. I have been able to get a discount on customer order cars from the factory, but usually half of the percentages listed above. |

On a new 2017 991.2 turbo S, a good discount would be 6%. The used cars are still holding a lot of value. Porsche discounts are not plentiful in general. |
