Seems Audi followed suit (Merc has the most "stuck on" looking of the bunch).

*At least it looks like the Audi MAY be an up/down screen, but that seems pretty unnecessary to me, since there doesn't appear to be any other display for radio etc so it effectively has to be up all the time anyway.
No you are NOT! At least Benz in the S-Class has a lovely integrated Nav screen! The Tablet sticking out of the dash looks like a complete "after thought"!

BUT.... At least the Audi shown here has a 'retractable screen' so the dash can look nice and clean unless you require Nav.

I also don't like the large screens with touch knobs. I like a physical knob or dial, with tactile feedback. So no tesla screen. That also distracts from driving (and is thus ment for people who arent engaged with driving and are more focussed on gadget and toys... while driving....doh).

I usually think alfa romeo interiors look really cool.
Yep I'm with you here too. Whenever I get a rental car that's more touch screen oriented I find it to be way more distracting and it takes away more from your night vision when you have to look at a bright LED screen.

+1

I can't believe this is the best highly skilled design teams managed to come up with.

I love this and the RS7. Blowin doors off while still riding in business class. Is there anything better?

As the buyer I never understood the desire to have massive backseat room unless I was planning on sitting there and having someone else drive, then I would never want it to have 600 hp.

I would not say this car has "massive" rear seat room. This is the short wheel base which is comparable to my F01 there's room back there but it's not spacious like the A8L or F02.

At 6ft 230lbs, I just like to be comfortable! Having all that power in a comfy, stylish and practical package is very appealing for me.
