Video: BMWs upcoming PAS Crossover
Autocar.co.uk has managed to snag some video footage of the upcoming Progressive Activity Sedan, which is BMW lingo for a 5-series based and sized crossover vehicle. BMW has made it no secret that it intends to increase its sales across the board by increasing the number of niche cars it will produce. After the X6 is on sale, BMW will put its efforts into getting this next niche vehicle out there. You be the judge, does BMW even need such a car in its lineup?

This is BMW's answer to the M-B ClS, Porsche Panamera(?), Audi A7 and any other 4-door coupes that exist.

This is not BMW's answer to the CLS/Panamera/Rapide. This is a whole new segment. Think of a crossover more so like the Infiniti EX.
They will make something like the Concept CS to compete with the aformentioned trio.

Rather than call themselves BMW, why not just call themselves Ford Europe?
