If some of you remember me, I was probably the only one there lugging around a Canon DSLR .
Where you in group 1 on the Sunday 11am run? If not, it was some other dude carrying around the DSLR. Seems like the worst place to carry around the DSLR.

If mine wasn't broken I would have taken in too, but happy I didn't have to think about it. I was hoping the in-car video would be a bit better than it was, but I liked the stats.

Thumbs up A Must To Sign Up

Went to the VIP UDE this past Tuesday at Santa Anita. You get to drive any M model you want on public streets and autocross an M3 or M4.

I took the M3, M4, M4 Convertible, M6 GC & X5M for a spin. Only reason I got to try so many is because there were not that many people that showed up! I think people who were invited did not know they would be able to drive the new M models. I personally did not know either. I thought we were just going to autocross an X4 and drive a 6 or 7 series.

Awesome event, I highly recommend attending it.

That was me... And after my first lap I realized that it wasn't the best place to carry one, so I left it with one of the instructors, but they make them fairly rugged.

Well, it's not so much "knowing", it's actually availability; there was not a single M car on the lot that can be driven when I went last Sunday (but I heard the day before had M-cars), but the one from last year ONLY had M-cars and the only non-M was the i3.

Be sure to sign up for the email notification. I believe it was a month or two prior to the event I got the notification. Had my choice of dates and times. One thing which was odd is the confirmation takes a day or so to send out once you do register.

I did the Miami dates back in October/November 2014 and this past May. Can't wait for 2016.

We have a group of 5 signed up for the Dallas UDE.

Anyone know how to get the VIP invites? I just purchased a M4, but my dealer in Oregan has no idea where to get the VIP tickets.

Thanks

FINALLY!!!!!!! It feels like I've waiting for half the year....

Now I have to decide which day(s) to sign up for. Maybe I should take some vacation time and just pitch a tent in the parking lot for the week.

Chicago registration is OPEN!!!
