new addition to our stable
My wife is extremely happy to have it, and the children love it as well. We traded a 13 Touareg which she never really liked, we initially wanted to get a gti , she wanted a manual no sunroof and no cloth seats( impossible in a gti ) and when I was about to leave the dealership they were bringing the R it was an instant decision and we are very happy with it.

we went with the idea to buy the gti ( 4 doors, manual, no cloth, no sunroof) , and we ended with the R since those options were not available, even though I really thought I saw one in Germany in August with no cloth and no sunroof
children made a mess in the previous car and they kept messing with the sunroof continuously, it was a nightmare |

![]() And your MINI is clean.....our 2002 is still at 50K miles and retired from all duties as wife got a SQ5. Due to emotional attachment, she is going no where but taking up the spot for my future M4. (1st world problems)

I hear you man - my wife absolutely adores her 2004 Cooper, especially with the paint job I had done on the skirts etc. It also has very low mileage around mid-60's and to be honest runs like a swiss clock! I am doing major upgrades to our house post-flood here in Houston and one thing i am planing for the raised garage will be a double BendPak lift
