You can try looking up a lot of youtube videos on training and fighting techniques.
I travel a lot for work, so when I cannot attend my local or favorite dojo for training for a few weeks, and I don't have someone to spar with or bounce techniques off of, I personally like the videos called "Fight Tips" found on youtube. These videos usually display techniques that are very similar and supportive of the way I tend to engage an opponent or sparring partner. Other than that, I am sure you can just google or youtube MMA fighting techniques, you will find videos that are supportive of how you like to interact with your partner in the ring, then suscribe to that poster.

My advice would be to hire a good personal trainer and do 1:1 technical workouts at least twice a week.
IMO that PT should be a real fighter himself, definitely not the gym type fitness instructor. Videos won't teach you the essentials. To improve my technique I hired a muay thai fighter and it seems like I had to start all over again. It's all about getting the basics right (yes that even includes stance and breathing). Btw, any other muay thai / kickboxing fighters on the forum?

I cut videos every month and post them and you can order the videos or attend classes if your interested. The teachers name is Sijo Abdul Mutakabbir. This is not a profit based school either. Classes are cheap if your in Atlanta. Look on facebook too: SWAM Modern Martial arts Science or something like that |
