Well, i had those rims (copy) on a E83. A car that's ugly as sin, actually the rims made it looks decent.
Alpina rims looks great and classy on 7 series, and partially on 5 series as well. Would love to own an Alpina myself, but the stripes on the side is a no-no. ![]()

They already changed the wheel design a couple of times. They still call it the "classic" wheel, but if you look closer, you can recognize slight and subtle changes.
The wheel design for the anniversary models (B5 & B6) is different as well. Congratulations Alpina!

In love with all of them. Thanks for sharing Dackelone !
If I could choose I would take the E30 B6 S or the E92 B3 GT3.

Wish we could get more of the Alpina options here in the U.S.
When ordering one here, you have to get what BMW gives you. Can't get the interior leather/accessories that Alpina offers. |

Alpina is so much more than just visual add-ons or signature wheels, like some folks seem to believe. They got their real start with engine tuning, and the comprehensiveness with which they increased power in the 80s and 90s (increased displacement, improved cam profiles, ported/polished heads, etc) combined with supple suspension tuning are the hallmarks of a truly great company. Things like the B10 BiTurbo (dream garage) and dropping a V8 into the E36 platform will forever hold our respect.
Even the modern B7, which we've had here at the shop, is a great car to see and drive. |

Alpina is a true car tuner and now a car mfg. They have great idea and vision long before common car guys have idea as what to when it comes to improve a cars performance.
Even the wheels with those hidden valves have a purpose. Usually those huge letters on the front chin spoilers can be bit of annoying, but Alpina made it works. Green and Blue scheme often would clash as well, but Alpina tuned the right shade of both and they work also. amazing. One time this guy with a BMW at a gas station actually asked me is that (B7), a "REAL" BMW...lol....he did not even know what ALPINA is... |

Alpina is a fantastic company with great pedigree.
Just FYI, they did change slightly change the Turbine wheels not that long ago, they're more of a concave style than just straight- works great with BMW modern design language. Lets have one more 850 Alpina pic ![]() ![]()
